What is a Coach?

A coach is a person who invests in and interacts with an individual, partnership or team for the primary purpose of stimulating, motivating and facilitating the growth, development and performance of that individual, partnership or team.

As a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, I help you determine your innate talents and help transform them into strengths.  The purpose for this is to help YOU achieve YOUR goals, objectives and dreams.

We do this via a three step methodology… Name It – Claim It – Aim It!  I will help you discover, develop and direct your talents and strengths.

I was first introduced to Strengths Based personal development back in 2007.  I read the book “Now Discover Your Strengths” by Jim Clifton and Marcus Buckingham.  I was hooked.

I began using this strengths based methodology in both my personal and my professional life.

Over the years I have seen individuals and teams literally TRANSFORMED through this Strengths Based Development process.

I believe that the Strengths Based Development approach is unique and powerful. A person’s most direct path to individual growth and improvement begins with a primary investment in his or her greatest talents.

Strengths based development is unique in that it builds on one’s areas of greatest potential rather than seeking to shore up weaknesses. There’s nothing wrong with being aware of your weaknesses and managing them, but your greatest opportunity for success lies in building on your natural talents – not in fixing your weaknesses.
